Just stumbled upon a little in-cockpit youtube video taken during the world's fastest salt flat run of the world's fastest streamlined motorcycle (394 mph) ridden by one Rocky Robinson ... and it is unfreakin believable footage!!
If anyone cares to imbed it for all the delightful BCSB viewers, have at 'er ...
(google "ack attack - the fastest bike in the world")
shee-it dude, who cares ... watch the video and then tell me you'd jump in that machine and push it up to almost 400 MILES per hour (on car tires or not). Its FUCKING scary FAST!
that was absurd! yeah that's bloody fast... i love the quick response, ohhh noh dont worry about the canopy, its supposed to do that! HAHAHA... YAhh.. SURE!
there's stress of course.. but it wont flie off... alrighty then... well he was stressed out alright.
Read a book a while ago that gave a good insight into those bikes. One Good Run ;of course about Burt Munro. He was on the scene when they were evolving away from motorcycles into streamliners.
At the speeds involved you probably want most of your limbs contained by the shell.
