I know alot of guys don't like these posts. I think they are a good idea only to illustrate how easy it is to screw up on these two wheeled things, and the instant consequences.
This bike crash Saturday @ 5:30pm, just before the Queensborough Bridge onramp, resulted in the 64 yr old guy dead. Pics I've seen show it as a red sportbike. Anyone who knows this section of road know it as incredibly unchallenging unless you are going in there smokin' hot. Of course there could be other reasons, like a heart attack, or maybe another bad interaction with another vehicle. Point is, bike control and road placement should be of the highest priority when riding. Street riding is WAY more dangerous than race track use. I constantly remind myself of this.
