Suggestion for Dunlop Tire cooperative order
Hi Everyone, here is a very much Non-Vendor Post from a fellow Rider and Racer with a suggestion on how as racers wanting to use Dunlop Full Race Tires we can work together to make it all sweet and easy to get the tires we want,
I have been on the phone with Joe at Pro6 and we can get the tires out here at 40 tires per pallet, Shipping on a Pallet is about $400 or so to Vancouver making the shipping cost per tire not a deterrent, about $10 a tire.
I can Email the 2013 Dunlop Price List and Compounds Chart for anyone interested to see so Email me for it at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send the pdf directly to you. No PM Messages Please,
On the cooperative order we would all get the 5% discount offered by Pro6 on whatever tires we order and pay the proportionate share of shipping ~$10 per Tire
It will be arranged for the pallets to go to one spot in Vancouver and everyone gets notified of the date to show up and pick up their tires and done.
I am sure we all have enough contacts and friends to be able to make sure the pallet of tires is collected and looked after on the day of arrival,
I have no problem coordinating this strictly cooperative order as I need some of the Dunlop Tires myself for the SV Racing Parts Cup Series so am happy to organize it on a strictly labor of love service basis only, Everyone get the same benefits and shipping including myself. This is a labor of love only.
Anyone else think this is a good idea? The alternative is have Pro6 ship here individually at much higher costs. We have worked the numbers and this alternative is virtually identical in end tire costs as on the US Dunlop site with Race Tire Services. Particiapating in a cooperative order would provide for easy pick up in Vancouver,
Email me Directly at email@example.com No PM Please.
The Tires will be in at the Canadian Importer, Pro6 and ready to ship on April 2, immediately following Easter weekend so we all need to be thinking of what we want for the year or at least initially for tires,
The Pallet is about half filled now it won't take much to make these Race Tires available to anyone wanting to run them this year,
If you have friends running mini and wanting 125 Slicks and Rains, no problem; Friends in 250 Gold Cup, no problem. 120/165 Slicks both UK and USA N-tek for SuperMoto, no problem; All on the list,
For those wanting to use Dunlop Race Tires for 2013 Race Season, This could be the easy answer,
Enjoy the ride and best regards,
