A few years ago, when I was squidding hard, a gentleman on BCSB posted up a pair of boots that had been well worn but he had no use them for anymore. Rather than selling them and trying to make a little money, he decided to pass them on for free to someone who couldn't afford to buy proper gear.
That someone was me. I picked them up and despite being broken in, they were above and beyond the pair of sneakers I had been wearing. The next season I put together some money for a jacket and the next season some money for some pants.
Since I'm moving to Calgary on April 29th, getting married this summer, and have no bike at the moment, I think it's a good time to pass the boots on. So if you find yourself in a similar situation to what I was in and you want a good first pair of boots, these are for you. I would just ask that you don't turn around and try to sell them.
They're size 10 us (euro 44)
The toe pucks on the right boot are worn right through and into the boot.
