Just felt that I do enough bitching about lousy service that I should give a shout for some outstanding help I got from Frank the other day in accessories.
Came in asking if I could buy a replacement visor for my Kaos Ether helmet (those $299 carbon fiber ones you see everywhere since the new helmet laws), and he sold me the one off his personal helmet he had just bought, brand new, and said he'd just replace it when the next order came in.
It turns out Kaos decided to switch the thickness of the plastic tabs that fit the visors, without telling anyone, so the new visor wouldn't fit. So when I brought it back, he called them, and the European rep said to do whatever to get me on the road, so Frank took the mounting brackets off a new helmet from the store, screwed them into my helmet, and then replaced both my broken clear lens and my old smoked lens to make sure everything fit, for no extra charge, just because the weather was nice that weekend and he didn't want me to miss any spring riding.
I don't see that kind of thing often, so there you go. Cheers!
