you just catch a red light and come to a stop. it's 5:30 am and the intersection is deserted in all directions - you're the only vehicle in sight. do you wait for the light to cycle or do you proceed?
do you go?
do you wait?
if you go is this the same as blowing the light w/o stopping
my lack of critical thinking skills makes it impossible to make this descision
Stop and wait. The only times I've ever intentionally blown a red were after sitting at the intersection for 4-5 minutes with the light not changing...
"Yamaha" - it's Japanese for "fuck your sports car."
Some might allegedly say that I occasionally ignore red turning signals, and perhaps some might say I have treated the odd light as a stop sign. Rolling stops count right?

I wait.... unless it's stupid long... Then I treat it like a stop sign

If two of you arrive at the same time and do the headlight thing, at least you won't see each other when you smash yourselves up.
If its super long I make a right + u-turn + another right. That way its legal and Mr. behind-the-tree officer can't write me a ticket.
I waited behind a mc at the light at Function Junction. Not enough weight to trigger the light. We waited one go round. They he turned left on the red, I followed. It's happened at that corner before. As to the question, I'll wait for the light to turn. Except at Function Junction.
Full Yoshi SS, Galfer wave rotors, Goodridge steel lines, Hel oil lines, Corbin GFL, Penske rear, RaceTech front, Hids, Givi hard bags with full lighting kit, Dyna Coils, K&N, Samco rad hoses, 9500ix/iQ, Pazzo, some bling, some CF.
I would wait or turn right.
The only time I ran a red with no one coming I asked the officer in the cruiser to my right if it was ok to run this light, as it was clearly not working properly.
He said go ahead, when I was half way through the intersection he hit his rotary lights and followed, (I thought, YOU'RE $#^&^#$@!^&ING KIDDING) he turned the lights off ass soon as he cleared the intersection
Police are not allowed to break traffic laws unless the run their lights
He and his partner must have had a little chuckle when I started to pull over.
Some might answer, that "it would depend ... on whether or not a child and/or a reporter happened to be in the car as well"
I define Hell as having to ride back and forth from Blaine to Tijuana on I - 5 in perpetuity.
I would take off and nuke it from orbit.
It's the only way to be sure.
