    Time for another suspension clinic?

I've had a request to help a couple of you guys set up your suspension..... actually it was a totally desparate cry for help but who's counting...

It would seem that it's time for another suspension setting clinic. So who's interested? If we can keep the numbers down to about 12 or so it can be in my back alley again. Otherwise we'll have to find somewhere to do this. Perhaps the parking lot at Burnaby Kawi. Actually I like this idea. I'll clear it with BK next week. Last year the alley was almost blocked by the bikes that showed up. Also I don't have to post my address for all the thieves out there to see. Yep, the BK parking lot is sounding better every second.

Also if you're interested in tuning your suspension....

BE SURE TO FIND THE SPRING PRELOAD WRENCHES FOR YOUR BIKE

Last years clinic was a panic of skinned knuckles trying to force these creations of Satan to come loose so we could set the preload of the rear springs.

So if you're interested reply to this thread and LET ME KNOW WHAT BIKE YOU HAVE AND IF YOU HAVE A REAR SPRING WRENCH. I know not everyone has these but as long as we have one set for each bike all will be well.

This grand adventure will take place sometime in the next week or two depending on the weather as I'm sure no one will want to ride over here in the rain.
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.

You are born. And you die. And if you are very lucky in between you get to ride motorcycles!

For your bike we'll play with it at the track. It's fine tuning time there.

It'll be a funny looking G shaped end with a handle. Like a C but with a tooth that sticks in towards the center. It's meant to fit around and hook into the adjuster ring of the rear shock.

I didn't get one with my 9R either..... WHAT'S THIS WORLD COMING TO......

I have a 94 ZX7 that could use some tuning. I have the wrench in the tool kit.

When speeding run from the cops, it's a lesser infraction.
