I've been thinking about taking a day or two off and doing a little 3 day trip around Washington state sometime this summer (probably late July).
The gist of it is:
Day one - Aldergrove, BC to Chelan, WA (380km)
Day two - Chelan, WA to Leavenworth, WA (320km)
Day three - Leavenworth, WA to Aldergrove, BC (320km)
I have chosen those destinations as the overnight stops primarily because I have time-share resort units at each of those locations so I can stay for nearly nothing, AND it works out to roughly break the trip into thirds. Aprox 320-380km's per day so the pace can be leisurely enough to allow ample time to stop and see whatever / eat along the way.
Has anyone done this route, or any parts of it? I have only even rode the first leg as far as Winthrop and the last time I drove through those areas I was about 9, so I hardly remember it.
Would I be better to change the route slightly in order to see something really cool, or hit an amazing stretch of road that I have otherwise missed?
