Rent car in USA or rent here and drive across?
What is the best option? And from what company? What about insurance?
Well I called Budget and she kinda hummed and hawed and kinda suggested renting in the USA.
Enterprise on the other hand were cool and confident and explained everything while adding it was no problem to rent here as long as we were not going far (Oregon) or renting a 15 passenger van. Guess I'll be calling Enterprise but if there are any warnings, please post up. thanks.
Yeah hi. How about some more information. What are you doing, renting a car to go to Bellingham for groceries? C'mon man... seriously.
Yeah, are you going to Key West or Lynden?

I rented a car for LA through costco's US rental website, and it was was so cheap, it was crazy.
I paid $168 including all taxes and fees, for a 2013 Ford Escape Limited, for 8 days, unlimited mileage.
This was this past Oct. I did not even have to pay ahead of time when I booked online, just printed
off reservation confirmation, took to booth, and paid there and then.
