My buddy just sent me a text saying that he had to pick out a bird leg from his radiator, and clean the air duct & filter full of feathers.
I didn't clean my bike yet, but I have to soon.
We went riding to Jacks Saloon in Winthrop to chill with a glass of cold beer and hang out a bit, so we didn't join the group ride. We were riding back in the afternoon then right after the Washington Pass...Bam! A bird flew from the side and hit my bike in front. At first I thought it broke my head light, and I was very upset. Then I realized the bird went straight into my brake rotor and got pulverized.
My buddy was behind and got covered with feathers...and his gopro got some footage.
Anyone hit a bird before?
What is the best way to clean the radiator covered with bird particles?
