I just love it when the dealer that sells the bike says they have to do a bike check to make sure all good!
Or the "we have to do a first 500 km check and oil change on the bike."
Surprised they don't put a sticker on the back to warn other motorists.
"Brand new, watch for falling parts!"
As Einstein stated: "All our lauded technological progress -- our very civilization -- is like the axe in the hand of the pathological criminal."
that should not come loose lol. that's one of like 8-10 fasteners that needs torquing out of the crate as they come with a holder there and a different nut. check your mirrors, clip-ons, windscreen, and bar ends.
You also should not need loctite on that stem nut...as proper torque has to be at least 75lb/ft or more, you did use a torque wrench?
You might want to loosen off the two alans on the top tube clamps and give the top tree a little tap. Then retorque that nut,a gap there may have loosened the nut.

That one shouldn't be falling off but I usually make a point of going over all of the fasteners on the outside of a new bike and throwing in some blue locktite. It's frustrating to have them falling off in the first couple rides and for the most part they're all dealer only screws.
Oh man....would I be giving the dealer an ear full over that one!

Thanks guys, I'm glad I posted the picture. Wish I had known before going on a slow Cascade ride... Right now it's only hand tight with loctite.
