My Motorcycle Skills Test got moved from 3 weeks from tomorrow to this Friday. This is awesome for me! But gives me less time to prepare.
I have some questions, the most important being about the supervisor.
First, they told me to bring my supervisor. What is my supervisor needed for? How long will they be there for. Is it just to supervise me getting to the test area or do they need to sign something, or watch me take my test.
I ask because I actually don't have a supervisor because I don't know many people with their motorcycle license so I practice alone in a Costco parking lot. I have a coworker who has his day off on Friday and is willing but he is busy until 3:30 and my test is 3:15 so if he is only needed to supervise me getting to the location, then I could arrive early and it would be fine.
My other question is about the test itself. I read the "What's on the skills test? Course and instructions inside" thread; it seems pretty easy and straightforward. Is the test hard? Is there anything in particular that I should practice?
I practiced slalom the other day, it was easy when I laid cones 2x the length of my bike, but when I tried 1.5x it was pretty hard so how far apart are they in the real test. Do I need to worry about shoulder checking every time I back up or turn or anything else?
Any information would be greatly appreciated thanks.
