Here's the thing, I have a 2006 Yamaha R6 with about 38,000km on it. I need to change my chain because its pretty much garbage now. So i've searched around and i've noticed that a 520 chain conversion is a popular choice from a 525 pitch.
Now where i'm stuck at is should I go with a -1 front,+2 rear sprocket change. I know that my acceleration will improve however, my rev's will be increased at higher speeds.
Or should I keep a stock sprocket in the front and go +2 in the rear?
I travel to work and school on my bike (weather permitting) from Surrey to Richmond pretty much everyday. How bad will my milage get with the -1,+2 and the 0,+2 ???
I was kinda leaning towards the stock sprocket in the front, +2 rear and if I go with that mod will I need a speedohealer as well?
