I lowered my bike and now the kickstand is too high. The adjustable ones are like $100+ any idea ... or if anyone can help me cut and weld, I would rather pay you some money.
Heat it up and bend it, or pull it off and give 'er a couple wacks with a sledge. It may stick out more while riding, if you are not happy with the results you can cut out the bend and have it welded straight again (to the right length of course).
Dont bend it, get it cut and welded. You'll probably only need 3/4" cut off (each 1/4" makes a huge difference). If you are in the area, Custom Metal Craft in Port Coquitlam has done lots of these, and lots of other great custom work for members on here.
A hundred bucks for the real McCoy but shorter?
Cutting and welding aluminum probably cost about the same if not more at a shop.
