I would like to extend an invitation to all riders that would like to pay tribute to a friend, Hugh Roberts, that was recently killed in a motorcycle accident. A tragic and unfortunate incident took his life this past Saturday near Whistler. He was a wonderful man and shared his enthusiasm for life through his love of skiing, flying, and motorcycling. Hugh was passionately dedicated to his family and church, as well as a consummate showman who could captivate a room full of friends or strangers with his witty anecdotes and world-class joke-telling. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honour of knowing and riding with him.

His wife of 28 years has asked those that rode with him to arrive on their motorcycles and has extended this invitation to any riders that wish to pay tribute to his life. If you are able to attend, please park your motorcycles on the grassy field to the right once entering the parking lot.

A memorial service will take place at West Vancouver Baptist Church, 450 Mathers Avenue, on Friday, October 25 at 2:00.

Donations in Hugh's name can be made to West Vancouver Baptist Church or the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
