i"m assuming this thread/poll will be a little biased but want to put it up regardless.
a while back i made a mistake in estimating how much further i could get on the fumes in my gas tank - thinking i had enough to get to my destination first and then hitting the gas station on the way home.
anyway, i have bcaa and called them to request fuel. i made the mistake of saying i was on my m/c and the csr informed me that my membership did not cover my motorcycle. the reason give was that motorcycles are specialzed vehicles that require special training for their road techs. this i can agree with to a certain degree, but i pointed out that i only needed fuel and there is no special training required to put gas in a fuel tank. she wouldn't budge at all and said if i wanted help i would need to upgrade my membership before they would send someone out. i politely told her where to stick the extra charges.
do you think it's reasonable that bcaa charges a premium for m/c help if all you need is fuel? i'm hoping to generate enough interest here to see if they would change their policy on fuel only.
