The government does donation matching from time to time. Where does the government get the money from? They can match up to $100,000 per indivudual.
The population of Canada is 34 million. If each individual donates $10, that's $340 million, $20 is $680 million.
Unlikely, but if each individual donates $100, that's $3.8 billion. How is the government supposed to match that?
