    Dyno Results

I was first in line at the MAS dyno day at RMS. So, the Couch turned in good #s for its total stockness and newness. It made 126 HP and 69 pounds/ft of torque. The sound this bike makes from 5 feet away is just incredible.

I can see what to do to improve it a little, which is the main benefit of the day.

Mike was a very nice guy and very willing to suggest help and/or discuss strategies.

Hell, one guy had the guts to put his stock 883 sportster on there, so c'mon, get your lazy asses out of bed and do it! I've posted my results, let's see what you got. <egg, egg>

I can't believe noone took advantage of this! Or if they did, they're too chicken to post their results. If that's true, I fart in your general direction! If it's not, let's see it!

    My Bike: 2001 SV650S
MODS: Dyno Jet Kit, Stock muffler gutted.
Fuel: 87 pump at the time.

    First run: 48.8 hp / 39.3 lbs/ft torque
Problem: Throttle stuck wide open; retest req'd after fix.

    Second run: 67.3 hp / 43.2 lbs/ft torque
Much better and very close to Dyno Jet specs for the jetting.

She may not be fast, but she is fun

I also managed to sneak in a test ride on an SV1000S. What an easy bike to ride fast. Slow steering, but stable. Not the best for long trips, but a set of Heli bars would fix.

Thank you to RMS, Suzuki, Big Jim, and Cosworth for the demo rides.

I'm off to Hawaii now for a week. L8ter doods.

Dyno Day was fun, my 02 R6 with a D&D slip-on pulled 103.0hp, and 45.2 ftlbs of torque. I was told that this is very strong for a six, and apparently it was the strongest pull for a six up to that point(2:51pm).
Im veryu pleased with the results, Im actually surprised!

Thanks guys for the dyno runs... here's the result. I plan on getting some jetting done to clear up the 11k and 12.5k hiccups. Overall pretty good though apparently - 94.1 peak for my baby - 2000 600f4.

    I wish.
mycall, your bike must be tuned then no? that's a lot for an R6.

    Mine made 129.something. 69.8lbs torque.

    Pretty standard for the bike.

I was hoping for a figure that's closer to a 100 HP though. Not that it makes any difference... Looks like I need new chain and an oil change though

    I saw an 03' G1K run 145 & 76

    I was happy with my results, 132.1 & 75.3
    I love my bike but getting those #'s and watching a 02' R1 run 122 & 66, ZX-9 121 and a 929 127.5 & 68 put a on my face.
