Following in the footsteps of our Dear Chumly. I ask. With the caveat, I have done some, (limited) research.
I have shaw digital cable on 3 TV's all hooked up to PVR's, and all wired in hard to jacks.
I want to move one entire unit into a room that has no jack.
This seems problematic, and shaw has no wireless digital boxes. There is a product that can wireless transmit but within sight, which is not an option.
I'm tired of drilling holes in my house.
This one TV is used mainly for gaming, Netflix etc, it's a smart tv if that is relevant. It's actually not a PVR, sorry.l.. just a digital unit to allow cable.
What's the deal here... if I go to telus I'm into it big time for units and service plans and so forth.
Do I tell my kid to fuck himself and move out? Do I wire 3000 feet of coax around the building?
Why is there not a simple solution to this god damn problem that I can find?
We can send a rocket to the moon, surely the cable can go into a room without a bloody wire.
