Hey, does anyone know how to get the front wheel off of a 2000-2002 ZX-6R? It looks as though you would need a huge alan key to get that front axel out...like a 150mm-200mm alan key or something.
I asked Burnaby Kawasaki, and they said they use a tool supplied by Kawasaki Canada that retails for $32. It looks just like a bolt welded to a smaller bolt...you stick one end into the axel (like an alan key), and use a socket on the other end to un-screw the thing.
But there has to be an easier way! How do you people (that don't work in a Kawasaki garage) get your front wheel off?
It's time to get new rubber mounted (again) and I'd like to save some coin by just bringing in the wheels if possible.
Thanks in advance!
