Nah, it'd be impounded before it got to Furry Creek!

It's good that it looks like a sub, because the first sign of anything resembling a turn, and that thing's going in the water.

I have driven a chase vehicle down the salt flats, only went about 110 mph, but I can say that there was little sensation of speed ----until you go past a little wooden stake sticking out of the ground. First target fixation, then -- oh shit -- with the realization that only a very small correction is called for, anymore and things could get ugly in a hurry. Fastest I have ever driven is about 160 mph and I'm sure 400 would bring life at you somewhat quicker. The mile markers do give that required sense of speed tho'.
Our local British motorcycle club will display Tom Mellor's latest Bonneville record achieving Triumph Trident at the front entrance to this years bike show. Two records actually, streamlined and unfaired records. I stand corrected, but I think 201mph and 157mph respectively last sept, this for an air cooled pushrod normally aspired engine.
