Looked into a bike that was likely too good to be true. And it is based on the reply below.
Suggestions on how best to screw with this guy? I want to waste HIS time while having a good laugh. My response so far has been that I don't have eBay, however I DO have a bank account number.
Copy of his initial email:
I will do my best to walk you through the process. As I told you in my first email, I recently moved to Greece but the bike is located in Canada. The shipping is already arranged because someone agree to buy it, but at the end he never got loan from his bank. For this reason the shipping is included in the price (free). The bike will be shipped from Moncton (the reason why the bike is in Moncton is that the shipping company re-located the bike) and will be arriving at your home in 4-5 days. The bike is ready to be delivered to its future new owner and will come along with all the necessary papers to register it under your name. Because i'm not in Canada, i prefer to close the deal through eBay because we will be 100% protected and insured by them.
The deal is handled by eBay so I don't have much to do about it.
In addition, you get 5 days to try it out before buying it, and if you don't like it, you can send it back at my expense.
I want to make it very clear, that eBay will hold your money, and I won't be receiving a single dollar unless you call and tell them to release the money to me.
If you would like to start this transaction and to receive more information from eBay, please reply with your whole name, address and phone # and they will contact you right away.
