Or how it would have read...
I narrowly escaped with my life this morning no thanks to a careless truck driver.
Unloading outboard motors from his truck, at the same time we are setting up the Honda demo ride, so we were a bit short staffed today.
I'm out lining up dunage under the load so the driver can set the crate on the blocks and get his pallet jack out, then the fork lift operator can zip in and lift the crates out.
While he's about to lower the jack onto the blocks I look to make sure the cars/trucks coming up and down the street don't run into us or pull into the lot (cause we're stacking them there).
Turned my head to scan up the road before stepping out of the way and a car is coming, as I step up to the truck this load is falling towards me. Two Yamaha F115 outboards coming crashing down. I had to dive out of the way, missing crates and cars.
I swear I'm part fucking Ninja or something.
WTF just happend and how am I not dead? Boggles the mind. This was way too fucking close.
Twice now I've narrowly escape deaths grasp. I think I'll have extra bacon tonight with dinner.
