So, after that previous attempt at kick starting the game this morning and my own pondering running it myself, perhaps we need a thread where people can broach some of their own suggestions to improve over last years' kinda crappy game?
I would start from the foundation of the existing game, and think it forms a great basis, so long as whomever runs it continues to put together bonus rounds to keep the leaderboard in flux. Also, with the new Port Mann toll and the generally disproportionate amount of clusterfuckery that goes on between the Vancouver and Chilliwack players, I'd also like to suggest splitting the game and leaderboards into two disparate sections: Everything West of 200th, and Everything East of 200th.
This would entail having two active tags at all times; one East of 200th, and another West of 200th. The leaderboard would have an overall leader, as well as individual leaders for the West and East divisions, and which side has more points. That opens up a lot of opportunity for Bonus Rounds to completely fuck with the standings of both sides, and could have some bonus rounds actually requiring teamwork (I know, holy fuck, eh?) to advance the East's total over the West's or vice versa. At the end, there would be a winning team, individual team leaders, and an overall leader, and if desired, we could combine the game's conclusion with a pub night so the losing team buys the winners' drinks or something.
Whaddya all say?
