Cleaning out the garage and found lots of gear that I will never use again. Hoping it goes to riders who'll use it, not someone who'll hoard/flip it. I'm in East Van. Pick-up only. Here's the first few pieces:
Rukka one piece rain suit. This was my wife's, only worn twice. No tears, stains or funky odours. Made in Finland, used to be THE rain gear back in the day in the UK . Says Size 38, but I don't know what that equates to in N. American. If you're under 5'7" and less than 130 lbs it'll fit. 100% waterproof pvc and polymid. Grey with red shoulders.
$15.00 (or six bottles of Parallel 49 Gypsy Tears ale - $12.50 !)
Here's one that recently sold on Ebay:
Technic Two Piece Rain Suit, Large
Worn a few times, bit of dirt on the lower legs. No rips or tears. Ugly bright red and bright blue pvc/nylon type material. !00% waterproof, does the job. Fits 5'10" 190 lbs.
First Gear Kilimanjaro LEATHER Jacket, Large
Bought this 3/4 length jacket from Burnaby Kawa waaaay before adventure bikes were cool ! Has lots of pockets, zippered vents, and a really warm removable liner. Hasn't been used for years. Never crashed in, all zippers perfect. No armour, just thick leather with double elbows and shoulders. Suit 5'10 and <200 lbs. Here's an identical one from internets:
Dayton Motorcycle Boots, Fit Men's 9
Worn for a few trips, but still in great shape - some wear on soles. Never crashed in. Black biker goodness made in East Van. Long with leather strap across instep. These ain't no fancy power ranger boots, just good simple protection for on or off the bike. Rounded toe, not too clunky. Same boots:
