I'm hoping with all of the experience on this site regarding icbc that maybe somebody can tell me what to expect.
Over the last month someone has tried to steal my Hurricane 3 times. The first time they just knocked it over and scratched up the fairings. The second they busted the windscreen and stole the left mirror. This time they put a screwdriver through my ignition as well as some fairing damage. (mostly scratches, a couple of broken tabs.
My question is this. I don't have comprehensive on the bike, its old with over 68000 kms on it and it looks like shit. However its my only toy at the moment. The last three incidents have cost me over 500 which is about 200 more than the years coverage on comprehensive would be. I am going to add comprehensive tomorrow. If this piece of shit individual manages to steal my bike within the near future, how badly do you think I would get fucked over by icbc?
To me it would look fairly suspicious if someone suddenly added comprehensive coverage and soon after their bike got stolen. Hopefully that won't happen but you never know. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
