Just wanted to say thank you to Slingshot and his riding partner for waving us into the Starbucks for coffee in Squamish today. We had just returned from 4 days of island riding between Ucluelet and Tofino - staying at Mussel Beach campground the duration. (what a great place too! I stayed there a few years ago - amazing once again. www.musselbeachcampground.com)

As we started riding off the ferry on the 99 (which i've never ridden before), we had two amazing riders to share the road with.

Thank you for the conversation and your tips on my Vstrom. I let up a little on the rear shock as well as kept the rpm around 6500-7000 the entire time. It was so much better. I only wished I had started listening to advice when I began riding 25 years ago. Thank you again.
The remainder of the ride today was stellar - and warm. Currently in Cache Creek for the night. Glad we could prove to you that Alberta riders don't just use the center strip of a tire. It's ok - we call it the Alberta Strip. It's pathetic.

Smurph
