I went for a short ride on my Drz today up past Stave lake on the FSR to Sayers lake where the water is 23c.
It was really nice to wash the dust off after a ride.
Although it is now a provincial camp site the guys who run it are pretty cool and have no problems with bikes or quads parking right by the dock and going swimming.
They also rent kayaks.
Girls in bikinis and dirt bike gear was a nice bonus as well
I was originally planning on going exploring around Squamish to look for a lake to go swimming but wasn't sure where to go.
So I though maybe some people on here might have some suggestions.
It might even be a nice idea for a group ride.
Super sports may want to stick to tarmac but pretty much any standard bike could do forest service roads.
I was a bit worried riding an fsr with pilot powers but it was actually alot of fun.
The road to stave lake west is perfect as far as gravel roads go and you can ride pretty fast on the straights without much issue.
So anyone got a good lake for me to ride to,preferably accessible by supermoto but dirt bike access is ok too if its a gooder.
