When I am rich, I am going to ride with new tyres every week. The change they make to the feel and fun, even in the rain this morning, is absolutely incredible.

After the incident last week, the bike has new Brembo pads and tyres.
I do remember the days when original tyres were only good as rim protectors, when every new/used bike deal included replacement Avons/Dunlops.
The first streetbike I had was an MZ TS250 Eat German 2 stroke that came with Pneumant tyres, that after 20,000 miles had no real wear and thanks to the fact that the original profile was flat there was no change to the handling.
