I got a late start yesterday but took a ride somewhere I have not been before (not hard to do because I am quite new to the area). I left Kamloops around 1pm and went Vernon via Monte Lake, traffic was light it was great. From Vernon I went down Hwy 6 past Lumby (This is the new road for me). Had an awesome ride, past tons of riders, must be a popular ride in the area. Never did make it all the way to the lake because of time constraints but a great ride none the less. The road was in good condition with no gravel anywhere to be seen on the road. And being 30 degrees it was a great day for a ride. Still have another 2 weeks off work so I am thinking of the Kamloops, Duffy, Hwy7, Princeton back to Kamloops via 5A loop.... Long ride for one day on a sport bike but would be a good last long ride for the season.
