New to the forum and newish to BC.
Basic overview at the minute is that I am originally from Ireland and had a full Irish car license for 2 years. But, BC being BC, I can not exchange directly for a BC licence here, so I had to start from scratch here, I was mainly interested in getting back to riding but I had to take the practical test for the car along with the bike, although they only charged me the price of one. One thing they did do for me was take into account my previous experience from Ireland and took the time off my L and N stage (I believe, but I will double check when I am at home), so I can go for my full Class 5 license here in BC.
Basically I am wondering how this will affect my L and N stage for my motorcycle licence, currently I am on my L and have to do the MST in the coming days. If I get my class 5 car licence, will this then pass on to affect my learner stage for the bike? As I read it on the ICBC site, if you already have a class 5 you can sit the test for the class 6 motorcycle licence.
If anyone has any help on this, it will be hugely appreciated.
