    Cannonball Finale

    What a fantastic September Weekend.

Over 10 in the morning, high of 30 and sunny all the way.

We went to Tacoma to see the cannonball finale

Most riders were slated to arrive around 1-3pm so we left early and took a scenic route down. Rode onto the ferry without putting a kickstand down.

I rode down with my dad. Several years ago I showed him a ADV report by round the world Doug. He has followed him since then and wanted to meet him.

    Lots of pictures:

Years ago I remember some rumblings of an underground cannonball run. Not the kind where old bikes take 3 weeks to go coast to coast...

Obviously nobody wanted part of organizing it. Would be madnessssssssssssssssss.

    Why would it be madness?

Give out gps trackets. Give start and finish line and dates at the last minute. Invite only to keep the narcs out.

A vstrom would probably win it with a 500km fuel cell and the vstrom anti cop shield that comes as OE.
