So on my way home from Kelowna I made sure to stop in Merrit and fill my gas tank up so I wouldn't be stuck like I was on the ride up (Read My ride to Kelowna part 1) On my way back down just after the toll booth I caught up with a guy riding a black and green ninja. Raced through some corners with him and then he just "dropped off". I slowed down and let him catch up, as I looked at him he pointed at his gas tank and I had to laugh (I'm not the only idiot that this happens to). I was following some freinds home and didnt want to lose them, I knew we were going to fill up in Hope and this guy might make it. So I followed my friends into Hope, filled up and went back on the freeway North to see if I could turn around and catch the guy on the Ninja, maybe give him a ride to the gas station and get a jerry can for him. I ended up hooking up with him close to the Hope exit and he explained to me that a guy in a white grand prix was picking him up some gas. I told him about my ride up and we laughed. Life's like that sometimes I guess, I was hoping to return the favout that was given to me on my ride up. But most importantly he was being taken care of just like I was. Good to know there is still some good people out there that are willing to stop and help someone out. The only bad thing is he wasn't a BCSB member.
