Once again, the local rags prove that they are strictly a 'stick and ball' waste of good trees. Nothing Monday, and nothing on motorsports Thursday about the Superbike national held in Calgary last weekend. Even when multi-time Canadian Superbike champ Steve Crevier, from PITT MEADOWS ( a whole lot closer than some Billy Bob cousin humping stock car clown) places second in the premier class. And Steve also leads the superbike class, but that doesn't cut it in this town.
If I had a shop, any kind of shop, I wouldn't spend a cent advertising in the Province or Sun, not untill they start treating motorcycles as something more than a way to sell papers by spreading pictures of crashed bikes on page 3.
Perhaps some of the manufacturers, especially the ones who also sell cars and music instruments should address this issue.
Go Steve Crevier Go, but look for the results of our B.C. man at www.cdnsuperbike.com, not in the local tree wasters rag ;-)
My 2 cents.
