Much work to be had in Van/ Kelowna?
With this pathetic recession we're havin right now, i must say Salmon Arm is suffering ridiculously.
I'm gettin pretty po'd with this town....there's nothing for work really, the property taxes in this dinky retirement town are higher then kelowna and 99 percent of other ind. park mill rates.
You receive nothing in return...not even a septic syst.
I'm seriously considering packin my kit bag and relocating.
I run a diesel repair shop up here. I'm wondering wether it be wiser to move to kelowna or somewhere in vancouver...even the outskirts maybe, to catch the agricultural spinoffs too
Main question i'm asking, is for those of you who live in either of these areas, what is the work force like for your area? active? prosperous? What career fields are booming right now?
I'll think of other questions as and when you guys provoke them. thanks
