There's still one more session at Mission for the race course but we had our first one at Tradex today.
I was starting to get skepticle of the value of taking this course but I can now say that it's totally worth it. I've been a very aggressive street rider ever since I got my bike but learned more about riding fast safely this one day of track riding than I have the whole time that I've been street riding. I've done some dangerous and stupid things but have never really pushed my bike like that on the street and this is was a parking lot! You can go from comfortable to dragging a knee through the haipin and sweeper in just a few sessions.
There weren't any major crashes and everyone had lots of fun. Nobody left with chicken strips (on the one side anyway) or broken bikes. I see riders posting up about how they just binned it every day on this board so I have to say, if you ride hard on the street, you need to do this course and get it out of your system or at least learn how to do it safer. There's a corner better than any of the ones on cypress, and they come every ten seconds and it's not nearly as risky if you do lose it. I can't say enough good things about the experience today and there's still Mission to go.
