Sun, June 22. 500cc and under ride #2!! (larger cc and seasoned riders welcome)
Ok people, lets have the second 500cc and under ride of the year!! I know there are lots of small bikes on this site. Come on out! The last ride was awesome! Don't be shy!! Let's get out there and meet all the other small sportbike riders!! It's great fun! Pace will be no more than 10 to 20 over.
When: Sunday, June 22, 2003. Meet at 11:30, depart at 12:00
Where: 232nd Street Chevron.
Destination: Cultas Lake via the back roads south of Highway 1. If time permits and everyone is up for it, out to Harrison Lake for a bite to eat. Head west on Highway 7. If there is still time, we'll do a loop around Stave Lake Counter clockwise. Last time we went clockwise.
Why: No pressure to try and keep up with the big bikes. And because we can.
-From Vancouver direction, take Highway 1 east bound to the 232nd st exit south. You will see the Chevron as you exit, if not, you're going waaay to fast.
- From the Chilliwack direction, same as the Vancouver directions but heading west and go south over the bridge. Again, you will see the Chevron as you come over the bridge, if not, you're going waaay to fast.
- From White Rock direction, take 152nd st north to #10, turn right, stay on it untill you get to Glover road, turn left, follow directions to highway 1. As you go around the left hand sweeper you will see the Chevron, if not, again, you're going waaay to fast.
Seasoned riders and larger cc bikes are welcome if you think you can go slow enough.
P.S. I'm planning on a 500cc and under ride up to Squamish or further on Sunday June 22, if people are ready and comfortable enough. So come on out next Sunday and get aquainted with your fellow riders riding styles.
