Here's a question for you. These days, and by these days i mean the dark days of winter, when the rain falls as freely as the sun does around 4pm, i seem to see more scooters on the roads than i ever do motorcycles. I know there are some all year riders on bcsb, myself included, but on my limited commute in the Vancouver/North shore area, i seem to see way more scooters than bikes throughout the winter. Now, is this because scooter riders just simply have less training than motorcyclists, and just don't understand the increased inherent risk of riding this time of year, essentially they are just ignorant. Or are more motorcyclists just fair weather pavement queens, who don't want to get their fairings dirty? Maybe its the mini-friday whiskey talking, but my mind wanders on these long rainy nights.
