I was perusing a few other bike web sites, and I noticed a forum where the site members could " talk to the boys in blue."
It seems like they just have a few of their site members, who are also police officers, answer any riders' questions regarding road rules, general police attitudes toward breaking the rules, i.e. shoulder riding etc,etc,etc...
My question is to the BCSB website/forum moderators and to all riders here. Would this be a feasible forum? Or do you know of any direct links to police stations for rider queries? Has there been any rider interest in this sort of thing? Are there any police officers that ride that would be interested in a forum like this?
Now obviously there may be concerns by moderators regarding cop bashing and inappropriate / stupid questions like " why do pigs eat donuts?", but with posted forum rules and sticky's on how to ask questions properly and respectfully, I think that it can be a very useful tool for riders and a good outlet for the police to educate riders.
What do you think?
