    2015 WMRC Dates

Sorry for the duplicate post, but I'd like everyone to see this and not everyone stops by the race section.

This is still in the early stages but I wanted to share with everyone what we have planned for 2015. With the absence of the WCSS the WMRC will now be hosting tracks days and rider training at Mission Raceways.
Our first order of business will be getting our New Racer Course up and running, but we also plan on announcing our own rider training program geared towards the street rider looking to improve their skills.

    Wmrc race rounds 1 & 2: Saturday May 2nd & Sunday May 3rd
    Wmrc race rounds 3 & 4: Sunday May 17th & Monday May 18th
Wmrc race round 5: Monday August 3rd
Wmrc round 6: Sunday September 20th

Track day & school: Friday May 1st
    Track day Saturday May 16th
Track day & school: Friday July 17th
    Track day Tuesday, August 4th
    Track day: Saturday, September 19th

There are many details still to be finalized but we are racing towards getting all of this ready ASAP!
It's a very ambitious project and a lot of work but with everyone's support I know we can be successful.
I hope to see you all out with us this year!

We will be at the Vancouver Bike show from Friday, January 23rd to Sunday, January 25th so please stop by say hi.. and show us your support!

Hey, any thoughts on what the tech requirements will be for the track days? Might buy/build a 4 stroke for track days that stops short of race spec, but I'd like to make sure I could use it at Mission...

NM, spec is on... wait for it... the wmrc website! doh

just wondering if i could get away with running antifreeze, no oil catch pan, no case guard and skipping some of the more awkward safety wiring (banjos, rad cap)... well, that's just some laziness really.... i guess the catch pan and case guard are all i'm really trying to duck!

To answer Overdraft's question about tech. For trackdays the tech requirements are very basic. You need to tape up your lights and mirrors and remove your license plate. Other than that your bike, tires and brakes need to be in good working order with no issues. We do strongly suggest that if you are running in the advanced group that your bike be fully race prepped including wiring all drain and fill bolts, exhaust bolts, calipers and axle bolts etc. It is not required, but all you need to do is look at some of the excitement last year at the Ridge to understand why it's a good idea.

I think its a good idea for anyone doing a trackday to safety wire the oil filler , drain & filter . There are kits online That give You the prewired bolt and mounting tab which Will dress up your bike as well as Be functional
