I keep reading in here that so and so newbie rider should be on a 600 or smaller bike. Thats crap. You can do just as much damage to yourself on a vespa as you could on a ZX12R.
Taking a riding course and having the smarts to increase throttle opening as you increase riding experience will keep you out of the ditch on any bike.
So if you are a newbie wanting a motorcycle that has no brain, no throttle control and gets easily sucked into a corner, go buy the bike and get them to pull the motor out of it. If you're the opposite to this, buy the bike, and gradually increase your speed/rpm accordingly to your seat time.
