    Which is better?

I have been hearing from many motorcycle shops that a BMC or K&N filter will increase power and flow better that stock, but some sportbike riders I have asked says the BMC and K&N filters rob power and do not flow as well as the stock Honda air filter. Do you know ? The Honda one is much cheaper too.

What? The 929 doesn't use an oiled foam element as OEM?

If it's paper then go for the K&N. It'll be cheaper in the long run as you never buy one again. But if the stocker is oiled foam just clean, relube and you're good to go.

The stockers are so good these days that you just don't get enough out of an aftermarket filters to justify the mod. Even if you're not CHEAP like me...
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.

use OEM filters because they are good enough and your not going to squeeze anymore power by switching over to a aftermarket one maybe just one or two horsepower!..... save your money....
