Free admission and the best seats in the house!
For those who would like the chance to get up close to the racing action at the WMRC races/trackdays at Mission Raceway Park, you can volunteer to be a Corner Marshal (wave flags, communicate on the radio, pick up crashed bikes and tell the riders what to do and not do).
There's no previous experience necessary, you will receive training in the morning and be paired with more experienced people.
You will get the gate admission reimbursed and have the best seats in the house to watch the races. You will also get water, snacks, lunch and if you ride to the track you will get the opportunity to ride your bike on the track during Taste Of Racing on the lunch break. Above all you will have the sincere gratitude of each and every racer.
In my opinion Corner Marshalling is the second best thing to do at the track besides racing! When I Corner Marshalled, I learned a ton from watching all the different racing lines, riding styles and all the shift points & downshifting techniques.
Those interested please contact WMRC Corner Marshal Coordinator Pam Black at email@example.com She is simply awesome and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
This racing season is shaping up to be very exciting in all the classes. I predict epic battles with Ken LaLonde & Bez Cajee both on Suzuki GSX-R 1000s, James Nadolny on a freshly rebuilt Ducati 1198, Rob Schoemeyer on a BMW 1000rr and Jordan Aylen on a Kawasaki ZX6R to name just a few.
Less than 3 weeks to go and we all can't wait to roll out on track!
See you all there!!
