I managed to get out for a ride today on the sisters new to her bike after spending quite awhile getting it sorted out. She picked up 2001 CBR F4i that had been sitting quite awhile with about 30,000kms on the clock for a good price. It needed some TLC and typical maintenance, oil & filter, drain out the old fuel, new plugs, air filter, brake fluid and coolant changes etc. I couldn't believe the amount of spiders and cobwebs that were in nearly every crack and cranny plus a large amount of acorns. I was just waiting for a squirrel or some other rodent to jump out when I open the air box but thankfully they had moved out. The bike now runs great and other than getting the tires replaced and the rear signals back on after ripping out the rear signal integrator it should be a good bike. While out for a ride today I came across a guy on a nice R6 that was wearing some tight jeans but it looked like they had knee sliders which I have never seen before. Once I got closer I saw that they were these http://www.revzilla.com/product_imag...eaf_detail.jpg I can't really figure out why anyone would want these. I mean if you are going to drag a knee on the street why not wear a one/two piece suit? Hell for nearly the same money you could buy some leather pants with sliders and have the armor. The guy was wearing a nice A stars jacket and other good gear so why not just wear a pair of leather riding pants to match the jacket. Any one actually tried these before?
