So this morn. at 8 o'clock I'm meeting some guys at the Chevron on Georgia downtown. As I pull up I notice a Ducati Bostrom Replica parked on the sidewalk on Georgia, no lock, no alarm, no rider around. Number 148/155. I mention to a Harley rider how much that bike is worth and he says the guy rode up, parked it and then hopped in a cab. Said he must have been going to a track because he had all the leather gear on [ ha ha ]. He thought it must have broken down. We were drooling over the bike and I noticed some oil of some type on the right sidewall of the rear tire but no signs of any other problems on the bike. But the weirdest thing was the tag on the plate expired on April 7 2003! The gas station attendant said the guy would be back in an hour and his friend had one just like it.
Now if this was your bike would you leave it parked on the sidewalk with no lock and expired tags? It was still there an hour later when we drove by.
I'm really curoius to know more about this situation. if you have any info let me know.
If this is your bike those chicken strips [about 2 inches] are the widest I've seen in a while. Maybe I could narrow them up for you!
