well what say ye? is this the harbinger of death for western canada and it's economy?
I told several people at work a couple weeks ago that it looked like the NDP had a very good chance at coming into power and they laughed at the notion.
Will be very interesting.
Long Live Shervin Of The North!
I doubt it. You are too fearful of Lord knows what. Maybe this is an advanced warning and foreshadowing of the end of Harper and his posse. Here is hoping.
Full Yoshi SS, Galfer wave rotors, Goodridge steel lines, Hel oil lines, Corbin GFL, Penske rear, RaceTech front, Hids, Givi hard bags with full lighting kit, Dyna Coils, K&N, Samco rad hoses, 9500ix/iQ, Pazzo, some bling, some CF.
The Alberta NDP will in no way effect the economy more than oil/gas market fluctuations will.
My cousin works for Shell in Calgary. He's preparing for the worst. Price fluctuations don't bother him. Tax implications definitely do.
TSX just dropped 200 points as a result of this situation. That's your pension plan boys, both personal, company, and government. Just be aware of the factual ramifications of such a change. Clear away political ideology to see how it will affect your future.

I think Steve nailed it.
Results were interesting. 60% of voters voted against the NDP.
How stupid is the system when wild rose and PC split over 50% of the votes 50/50?
We need some type of run off election system in this country. Results like this are just embarrassing .
Remember it was the Alberta PC party that pissed away Billions$$ when they screwed up the royalties structure. All that brains and $$ yet no one knew how to use a calculator.
The new Premier hasn't even unpacked her tampons yet and all you guys are screaming that the sky is falling. Oil hit $63 a barrel this morning and the Loonie is up to 0.83 US$.

Hell has frozen over - the end is near!! Well probably in actual fact Alberta's "NDP" is probably more like our "Liberals" in ideology than federal NDP or Manitoba NDP. They will be a good step ahead if they could just eliminate the corruption and keep everything else status quo.

The sky really is falling, it's snowing in Edmonton. Must be the NDP's fault.
I'm not addicted! and I'm not quitting!!
Heeere's your sign...
...and "always" look on the bright side of life...
And the same day she says NO PIPELINES a BNSF train derails and several tankers go up un a big cloud of smoke and another small town gets evacuated. Only thing worse (better) could have been if the train was about 100 miles north.
Not much different from ndp mp in quebec who was out partying in vegas.
