My buddy dropped a ton of cash on a new bike and after a week or so he returned it for warranty work. He gets it back and it's running shitty so he takes it back, they claim it's "normal". After months of problems and contact with the manufacturer, he discovers that the wrong tune was somehow installed at the previous warranty service. The manufacturer remotely fixes the bike (as he found out via email) but the shop tells him to get out or they will call the cops!! Seriously? !? I guess they figure he should have been happy with the months of problems he was having. I don't want to name the shop as I'm sure they have there own version of events. My buddy is a war veteran and I'm sure he can be intimidating when angry. I just don't get why banning him demonstrates good customer service after all: the issue was fixed. How hard is it to own up to the mistake and move on?? I know I would be pissed in his situation. At least the manufacturer figured it out and treated him like gold and his bike is running like a champ.
