Yeah, Ralph's. But I assume they have a zipper at the bottom, which is going to make the alteration quite expensive

I've had good luck at the stitching repair shop at 203rd and Douglas Crescent, although some here were not as happy.

Outdoor Innovations on Kingsway did a good job for me.

not near Langley, but Danielle at DCH Sewing in North Van ( near bottom of Capilano) does excellent work and is very reasonable with her charges. per digitallyhip, Outdoor Innovations is also good...

i tend to avoid specialty stores as they are generally more expensive than what the work actually requires... we found a good 'run of the mill' dry-cleaner store nearby that does great work

and was very affordable, you may be well served to look around as i was amazed at the huge difference in cost was, even just for a freakin' zipper, mere few bucks where others quoted big time bucks..

i'm taking my textile touring pants back to add a zipper at the waist which will match my jacket...

not nearly as much as you would think.. i had to cut the bottom of my touring pants as i had a similar issue to OP.. everything was on back order when i needed them

so i coudlnt wait for the shorty version, mod cutting to length was like 16 bucks... zipper runs down the length of the leg, took no time to get done
