Motorcycle Instructor Course at the Justice Institute of BC

    Hello All,

The JIBC is planning a Motorcycle Instructor Course starting in mid September. There will be an introductory night on August 13 starting at 18:30 at the JIBC facility in New Westminster to introduce potential candidates to the course and of course answer any questions that they may have.

The course will run on most weekends and one evening during the week from mid September until mid January and comprises 'in classroom', 'range' and 'in traffic' training and evaluation totalling about 150 hours. There will be a four week off period during November and about two weeks off over Christmas and New Years.

Cost for the course is about $3700 (no GST) and a tax receipt will be issued as the course qualifies as an educational deduction. If you want more information you can call Joan Glover at 604 528 5784 or email her at

    best regards,

What is this course good for? Ie why does someone need it? I know some companies such as vtwin have a requirement for an icbc approved instructors course. Is this it?
