TL slipper clutch?
I didn't get any sort of manual with my TLS... what I'm wondering is if it comes with a slipper clutch to ease up on wheel hop when you down shift.
I have noticed the engine breaking isn't as powerful as I expected it to be. Does anyone know anything about this? It wouldn't surprise me since the TL is such a quirky bike - plus I thought I remembered reading it somewhere when I was researching the bike.
I know the TLR does, not sure about the 'S'.

yes, the TL1000S has a slipper clutch, suzuki calls it a Back Torque Limiter Clutch, it'll slip the clutch a little to allow rear wheel travel and engine speed to match each other to prevent wheel lockup and bouncing the rear around.
check out the specs on the TL1000S in the past showrooms at www.suzukicycles.com, it'll tell ya.
